Rhilea Sweater

Suvi Simola's newest pattern Rhilea Sweater is now available on Ravlery. I was able to test knit this pattern and it was such a fun and addicting knit. Suvi used a Malabrigo Arroyo yarn for her project, but I knew I wanted to knit it in something I would be able to wear all spring and summer. So I decided to use our Daisy yarn ( a blend of Linen, Silk, Hemp in sport weight)!

I like with this pattern you will start from the middle back work up to the neck and arms then down the front. From there you will rejoin in the round to finish the body.

I was a little nervous to see how this project would work in our linen yarn but it turned out better then I could of imagined!

I followed the pattern for size L1 just like it was written except I worked a couple more rounds the neck edge because I know the more I wash the garment the silkier it will get. I didn't want it to get too wide at the neck edge.

I also, didn't work the pick ups for the sleeve as long, I like more of a 3/4 length sleeve.

If you are wanting to make this garment here is what you are going to need!
