Last fall Andrea Mowry came out with the cutest sweater (The Wool and Honey Sweater) and I knew I had to make one for me!
At first I was a little hesitant because I thought it would be a little too complicated. But I was determined to make it for my trip to Amsterdam.
Next, was to determine what yarn to use for the sweater.
Andrea used Brooklyn Tweed's loft which is a fingering weight yarn, but blooms a lot once blocked.
I decided I was going to use our Batiste yarn! It is a sport yarn but on the lighter side.
I just love the heather look of the yarn from the linen in it.
I made my swatch and my gauge came out perfect!
I am making the large size which should give me a 47" bust.
Im usually a 39" bust so that is going to give me around 8" of positive ease. 
This sweater is surprisingly easy, all that gorgeous detail is created by yarn overs and slip stitches.
The beginning of this sweater went very fast, it was no time before I was separating for arms.
Once I got to the base, I just wanted it to be finished so I could wear the sweater. So, I made mine 2 inches shorter, I love cropped sweaters.
Finally, it was done just in time for my trip to Amsterdam!

Bust: 39 (43, 47, 51) (55, 59, 63)"
Batiste: 7 (8, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11) skeins
For needles you will need US 4/3.5 mm 32" circular
& US 3/3.25 mm 16" 32" circular for Neck/ bottom band and cuffs
