Fun and quick Winter Blossom project.

Last week the yarn shop Espace Tricote came out with a new pattern, Bonjour Hi.
I have been looking for a fun super quick project I could do in Winter Blossom, so I was very excited to see this fun little cowl/ shoulder warmer.
The pattern is FREE which is always fun, right?
They made theirs double stranded with a fingering weight wool and a strand of Mohair. So, Winter Blossom is the perfect fit for this pattern cause you are getting the same look with out having to use 2 strands of yarn.
Here is what you will need to make this cowl for:
Finished Dimensions:
Finished circumference at neck: 19 (19.25, 21, 21)” / 48.25 (49, 53.5. 53.5) cm Finished circumference at bottom: 45.5 (48, 53, 59)” / 115.5 (122, 135, 149.5) cm Finished height at center: 15.25 (15.25, 16.75, 17.25)” / 39 (39, 42.5, 43.5) cm
Yarn:
Winter Blossom: 50% Organic Extra Fine Merino Wool, 30% Mohair, 20% Silk
2 (2, 2, 2) Skeins
Tools:
16" & 24" circular needles: 5mm (US 8) or size needed to obtain gauge.
24" circular needle 4.5 mm ( US 7) for ribbing ( one size smaller then gauge needle).
Stitch Marker and Tapestry needle to weave in ends
Gauge:
19 sts & 24 ends = 10 cm/ 4" after blocking with main gauge needle.
I was able to get gauge with our Winter Blossom and the US 8 needle. If you are wanting to make the cowl a little longer you will need 3 skeins for the last 2 sizes.
Here is photo of the project mid way through.
Then here is what it looks liked finished!
It turned out too cute! I can't wait to make some more for Christmas presents!
