Fiber Fest Shawl Kit
We LOVE Stephen West's Fiber Fest Shawl!!! The shawl pattern is has the perfect amount of simple and difficult knitting to keep you motivated and entertained the entire time. We worked ours in our Batiste and Hand Painted Batiste yarns and could not be happier with how it turned out. This yarn creates a light and airy feel with a rustic and elegant look.
In Stephen's pattern he called for a fingering weight yarn but we decided to use our Batiste which is a light sport weight. So we used a size 5 needle for our pattern instead of the size 4 he recommended. But we were able to get the same gauge and finished dimensions and his finished garment. That is the only things we did different for our shawl.
